APEX Alberta (a collaborative initiative and partnership between three core service providers: Community Futures Entre-Corp, Medicine Hat College, and Alberta Innovates) has organized an exciting presentation (sponsored by BDC & APEX Alberta).

Come and join us to hear about exciting new developments in clean technology opportunities in SE Alberta from the following: Southeast Alberta Energy Diversification Strategy (SEEDS) group, the City of Medicine Hat and BDC.
1) SEEDS Project Consultant Sandra Moore will provide an overview of the Southeast Alberta Energy Diversification Strategy and support that the group provides for the renewable energy industry to grow and thrive in Southeast Alberta. The SEEDS group is developing the full strategy release for early 2018. This strategy includes four reports focused on the opportunities and challenges of SE Alberta’s emerging renewable energy industry. For more information visit the SEEDS website at seedsalberta.ca or follow SEEDS on Twitter @SEEDSAlberta

2) The City of Medicine Hat will provide an overview of HAT Smart and details on the 2018 Residential Incentive Program which includes rebates for solar panels, clothes dryers, sealing air leaks, building efficient homes and smaller energy efficient items.
3) Ryan Castle, Account Manager at BDC ( bdc.ca ) will provide detailed information on the January 2018 announcement of $700 million in the clean-technology industry; focusing on proprietary innovations that will increase productivity and efficiency or reduce energy consumption, waste, or pollution.
