Free session: upcoming tax changes

The federal government is currently proposing tax changes. These proposed tax changes will affect those business owners or corporations that have participated in certain tax advantages: Income Sprinkling, Passive Income and Converting Income to Capital Gains. APEX (a collaborative initiative and partnership between three core service providers, Community Futures Entre-Corp, Medicine Hat College and Alberta Innovates) is offering a FREE seminar about the changes. Come and learn how the proposed tax changes may affect you. This upcoming seminar will be presented by Drew Jackiw, and Ryan Dorton, Chartered Professional Accountants with JMH & Co.
Here is an overview of the topics that you will learn about:
1. a summary of the proposed tax changes: Income Sprinkling, Passive Income and Converting Income to Capital Gains
2. a background of the current tax legislation
3. how the proposed changes will increase taxes for small business owners; and
4. what action can you take now
