Teams are encouraged to dress up – prizes will be awarded for best-dressed and best team name! The winning team will receive a cash prize for a local charity of their choice!
Throw, catch, or get out of the way! No one can forget the schoolyard game of dodgeball that we all played as a kid. Well, now it’s back for its third year in a row at the Canalta Centre on Saturday, July 14.
Dodge Brawl is a co-ed, double-elimination a dodgeball tournament for charity. On July 14 at the Canalta Centre, teams of six to 10 players will compete against each other not only for bragging rights but also for the chance to win money for a charity of their choice.
Twenty-six teams competed last summer with the District Moose Knucklers taking home gold and a cheque for $1,053.00 for local organization, Medicine Hat Family Services.
Doors for the event will open at 10:00 a.m. for both players and spectators, and the tournament games will commence at 11:00 a.m. Dodge Brawl is open to the public and FREE for spectators.
Interested in registering a team? Teams are comprised of six to 10 players and must include two female players. Must be 16+ to play! Registration is available online at www.mhdodgebrawl.com until June 2 at 4:00 p.m.
