The young woman convicted of killing Marc and Debra Richardson along with 8 year old son Jacob has had her curfew fully lifted. During a sentence review in Medicine Hat Court of Queens Bench, the the court heard that the 21 year old woman has continued to progress and exceed expectations during her rehabilitation. The woman who was 12 at the time the murders occurred, can not be identified by court order because of her age at the time of the killings. Her co-accused, Jeremy Steinke, was convicted and sentenced to 25 years to life. The young woman will likely have one more sentence review before her sentence is fully served in May of next year.
