Hatters have come thru another heatwave setting a couple more records. Last week temperatures climbed into the mid and high 30’s with Thursday seeing a more than 100 year old temperature record broken when the mercury climbed to 38.3 degrees. City officials say that day also set records for energy usage as residents cranked up the air conditioning in an attempt to find some solace from the temperatures. Meteorologist Phillipe Bedard said that temperatures should return to more seasonal values this week and even a bit cooler as a couple of disturbances could move thru the area bringing with them some rain showers
