Medicine Hat Police have arrested and charged a dozen Hatters in dealing Methamphetamine. Police say that the drug also known as crystal meth has been an increasing problem in the community. 49 year old Michael Poitras, 30 year old Shawna Taranko, 22 year old Chad Ogema, 37 year old David Marthaller, 35 year old David Lehner, 21 year old Kyle Duchcherer, 25 year old Matthew Perini, 26 year old Nicholas Belanger, 37 year old Ezra Cox, 28 year old Amber Baxter, 40 year old Lisa Mook, 39 year old Daniel Sparks, and 42 year old Wayne Shrubsall all face drug charges following the month long investigation. Two homes were raided and police say the street value of the drugs seized was more than $18,000.
