Construction of the new Schuler school got a major boost towards reality. Yesterday, students of Schuler School along with the Prairie Rose School Division Board of Trustees accepted a donation for $1 million dollars from the Drowning Ford Grazing Association to put towards construction of the new Schuler School. The donation amount is the largest in Prairie Rose School Division history and will go towards increasing the overall size of the new school by 18%. The increased size will allow for a larger gymnasium, a community CTS kitchen, an extra meeting room to be used for videoconferencing and a larger mud room that can accommodate the extra clothing the students require during the cold winter months. Construction of the new school is set to begin later this summer.
