The trial of 3 Medicine hat Police officers continues. Constables Robert Angstadt, David Hrycyk, and Marc Seiller, were arrested by the Alberta Serious Incident Response team and charged with aggravated assault in connection with an altercation on Aug. 25, 2012 at the Cecil Hotel. Yesterday, two witnesses ot the stand testified to seeing a police officer grab a cell phone from a patron of the Cecil Hotel, who appeared to be using his phone to video the altercation between officers and alleged victim James Halcro. One witness also testified that he saw 2 of the officers kick Halcro as he was resisting arrest. The trial continues at the Medicine Hat Courthouse.
