Weather conditions were less than ideal, but that didn’t stop hatters at the 35th annual Rattler Run. Approximately 900 people turned out at this years event that saw them take to the courses in cold weather along with rain and even snow. Race director Sonya Brown says that there were very happy the hatters came out for the run despite the weather. Several repeat runners said they wouldn’t miss it under any weather conditions. Mandy Phillips is a first time runner who said staying home crossed her mind, but she was glad she came out and finished the 5k course.
