The first phase of flood mitigation work in the Harlow area is nearly complete. A city committee meeting heard last week that the berm in lower Harlow will very soon see top soil being put down and then the paving. That first phase runs in front of Harris Street, Red Deer Drive and also through Kiwanis Park. Also at the Development and Infrastructure committee meeting, members heard that the Lions Park Phase 1 project is proceeding well and that design work for phase 2 of both projects is well underway. Harlow phase 2 could see initial designs shortlisted later this month. That phase will run behind the private residences along 1st Street SE
