City census continues

Medicine Hat’s municipal census counts seem to be going well. Medicine Hat city clerk Angela Cruickshank says that Hatters seemed to like the option of filling in data online. Cruickshank says that this is the first time the city has offered an online option to providing the information and they had about 40 percent of residents take advantage of it. Census takers begin hitting the streets and knocking on doors May 18th and will continue right through the end of June. The city gets $252 for each resident counted and those grants from the province go to fund things like road construction
