The City of Medicine Hat is hoping for good things with Rachel Notley’s NDP government when it comes to flood mitigation. Capitalizing on the new government and advocating for flood mitigation funding came up at Wednesday’s Development and Infrastructure committee meeting. Committee Chair Robert Dumanowski says it’s a chance for the city to let it’s intentions be known to the new government. Dumanowski adds Medicine Hat is not a forgotten community, but one with real needs that have been identified.
