Medicine Hat Firefighters continue to investigate the cause of a blaze that has left a family homeless.  Fire Department officials say that around 3:00 pm Monday afternoon, they were called out to the home on East Glen St. SE and when they arrived, found the home engulfed in flames.  Officials say the damage to the home is extensive as the fire got into the attic space.  No one was injured in the blaze and firefighters rescued the family’s two dogs.  The Red Cross is currently providing the family with housing assistance as they are unable to stay in the house.  Investigators are speculating the fire started at the rear of the house, but at this time can’t say for sure what caused it.
