A student at Medicine Hat College received some exciting news over the weekend. Carissa Goulard, a student from Medicine Hat College’s power engineering program, received a full-ride scholarship valued at $20,000 courtesy of CF Industries.  Trish O’Grady, development officer at Medicine hat College, says this is the second year that CF Industries has gifted the college with a full scholarship, offering financial assistance to an under-represented group in this program. CF Industries’ Medicine Hat Nitrogen Complex is Canada’s largest nitrogen production facility, which employees over 200 people. Goulard will be able to use the scholarship money towards covering expenses such as tuition, Students Association fees, textbooks, exam and non-instructional student fees.
