Anyone wanting to give their input on the Alberta Government’s Bill 6 may have to wait. The Enhanced Protection for Farm and Ranch Safety Act wants to add Occupational Health and Safety measures into Alberta farms and ranches. The bill has caused an uproar throughout the province, with thousands of Albertans voicing their concerns via Facebook and online petitions. The province is hosting eight seminars throughout Alberta including one in Medicine Hat, but only 200 people will be able to attend. Local farmer James Hargraves believe everyone should be able to voice their opinion, and not just a select few. The Bill 6 meeting in Medicine Hat will take place on Friday at the Stampede Grounds.
