Your Medicine Hat utility bill is going up next year, but not by as much as predicted earlier this year.  At the weeks city council meeting, non-commodity rates were introduced and while water and sewer won’t be increased, garbage collection, electric and natural gas delivery  fees will be raised.  The hikes in the fees are considerably less than first forecast and acting utility commissioner Dave Panabaker says reorganization in some departments along with other savings found have allowed them to keep the increases to a minimum.
