Flu-Lapolooza takes over Cypress Centre

Flu-Lapalooza has retruned to Medicine Hat.  Flu-Lapalooza is an Alberta Health Services resource fair aimed at young families. It runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cypress Centre Auditorium on the Stampede Grounds, and will feature influenza vaccinations; jumping tents; activities and entertainment; displays about oral health, wellness and safety; and teddy bears for children.  Mayor Ted Clugston who has already received his flu shot will be on hand and Councilors Brian Varga and Celina Symmonds will be rolling up their sleeves to get vaccinated.  All Albertans, aged six months and older, are eligible to receive influenza immunization free of charge. You are asked to bring your Alberta Health Care card and wear short sleeves.
