A Medicine Hat man has been arrested and charged in connection to a rash of vehicle as well as garage break and enters. 34 year old Johnathon Messervey is facing 28 criminal code charges as police allege he is responsible for the thefts on Stratton Way SE, Spruce Close SE, Sterling Link SE, Vista Drive and Vista Road that happened last week. Some items recovered include laptop computers, computer tablets, radar detectors, a firearm, miscellaneous hand tools, backpacks and a men’s mountain bike. Area residents are being asked to phone them if they notice any missing items. Investigators also believe there may also be other backpacks containing stolen electronics that are hidden in the Southridge area.
