More fallout over Monarch Theatre allegations

As the controversy continues to swirl around the Monarch Theatre and City Center Development Agency, another organization has pulled some support.  School District 76 has said they will no longer allow work placements at the venue for students looking to earn extra credits.  Acting Superintendent Lyle Cunningham said that given recent allegations made against the Manager, the board has decided they will not be placing students at the Monarch in the near future.  Meanwhile, a meeting of downtown merchants is said to be happening today where a petition calling for the CCDA to be dissolved will be discussed.
