Winter Games officials asking for volunteers

The Alberta Winter Games are just around the corner and the Medicine Hat Committee is sensing the anticipation.  Officials now are looking to fill up their volunteer data base as time is starting to run short.  Games Manager Kara Brake said that ideally they would like to have between 2500 and 3000 volunteers for the event and right now they have about 300 signed up.  Brakes said there are a number of positions available in different areas including the mascot.  Anyone interested can sign up on the groups website or by dropping by the games office at 533-1st St SE.  The Alberta Winter Games open up in Medicine Hat on February 13th
