A long and drawn out election campaign is coming to an end. Voters in Medicine Hat and across the country go to the polls today to elect their Members of Parliament and the next Prime Minister. Polling stations across the city opened this morning at 7:30 and will close tonight at 7:30. Elections Canada officials remind voters that in order to cast your ballot, you will need to bring photo ID with you such as a drivers license or provincial identification card. If you don’t have photo ID you can bring along two pieces of ID, one of which must show your current address. Officials say that the voter card residents received in the mail is not a form of ID. More information on voting can be found on the Elections Canada website. Praise FM News will have election night coverage beginning when the polls close
