Redcliff RCMP has charged a male with two counts of Theft Over $5000 in relation to a local school council program. Preston Scott Schuett is accused of stealing over $29,000 dating back to 2013. Investigators say Schuett has never been employed by Prairie Rose School Division but did provide book keeping services for the After School Care Program at I.F. Cox School. The program is run by the Isabel F. Cox Parent Advisory Association of the School Council. Schuett made his first appearance in court on Wednesday and will appear again in court on November 5.
