The Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce has weighed in on local provincial elections results. Chamber President Khrista Vogt says that the chamber by nature is non-partisan and advocates for business no matter the political strip of the party in charge. The chamber has released 17 points it garnered from a candidate questionnaire that they would like MLA-elect Bob Wanner and the NDP government to work on. Those things include education, health care, flood mitigation and more. They are also tasking opposition MLA Drew Barnes with holding the government accountable for spending, advocacy for small business and more.
