The City of Medicine Hat Flood protection project continues. City crews will be installing and testing removable flood walls at the parkade entrances to City Hall, Alberta Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench. City Officials say once the infrastructure is in place, the flood walls can be deployed and removed quickly, providing protection to these properties while minimizing downtime to the parkades. However, during the testing portion of the flood walls, the parkade will be closed until Friday. Parking options for those doing business at City Hall includes two hour on-street parking, two hour off-street parking at Cottonwood East lot as well as paid parking at the Esplanade and the City Transit Parkade.
