MHC partners with Canadian Blood Services

Medicine Hat College is teaming up with Canadian Blood Services. In a news release, The college announced yesterday that they taking part in the Canadian Blood Services Partners’ For Life Program. Mark Keller, director of college advancement for Medicine Hat College, says the program encourages blood donations from within partner organizations. Medicine Hat College’s goal is to donate 75 units of blood within a year, and Keller says that with over 2500 students and 300 faculty, he’s confident that MHC will meet or exceed the goal. The College also hosted a OneMatch Swab event, where students and staff found out their blood type and registered as potential stem cell donors.
