There is just under 3 weeks left in the federal election campaign and all candidates are ramping up for the final push. Conservative Candidate Jim Hillyer, Liberal hopeful Glen Allen, the NDP’s Erin Weir, Green Party candidate Brent Smith and independent John Clayton Turner all say that the door knocking and campaigning now shifts into high gear. Yesterday marked the final day anyone could submit papers to be on the ballot in the upcoming election. Elections Canada says that the confirmed list of names will be available sometime tomorrow. Voters will head to the polls on October 19th.
