Two distinct camps have formed between seniors in our city over the Seniors Centre. At Medicine Hat Council this week, council voted to scrap a proposed new building on Primrose Drive and forge ahead with repairs to the Veiner Centre that was damaged in the 2013 flood. Some seniors are saying now that council has deliberately ignored the survey’s that said they wanted a new building constructed. Other seniors meanwhile say that the Veiner Centre remains a good choice because of the location being central for most in the city.
