One man is dead following a bizarre accident in Medicine Hat. Medicine Hat Police say that a car driving south on Saamis drive last night ended up going across 3rd Street NW, then River Ridge Dr and coming to rest in a small pond. Medicine Hat Police along with the Fire Department Aquatic rescue team responded to the area. The driver of the car was taken to Medicine Hat Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are continuing to investigate the accident and say the mans name is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
