Mayor Ted Clugston and members of City Council will help launch the city’s Daffodil Project this weekend. Gillian Slade, who is part of the Daffodil Project, says their goal is to see one million Daffodil bulbs planted along a 10 km route along the Trans-Canada between Redcliff & Dunmore. Slade adds that when completed, the golden yellow Daffodils will beautify the area every spring. Last weekend, over 7000 holes were dug for the bulbs, and the community planting will get underway at 1:45 tomorrow afternoon at the Noise Berm on Shepherd Crescent. Everyone is invited to take part.
