The Medicine Hat Police Service has charged two males in connection with a break and enter and theft of property from a secure compound at the Medicine Hat Airport. Police say the pair broke into a compound and hanger at the airport where two planes appear to have been tampered with and then various items including a shotgun and ammunition and two trucks were taken. Investigators received information from Maple Creek RCMP on the suspects identities that allowed them to make an arrest in the Tower Estates area. 32 year old Tyler Klutskow of Medicine Hat and 25 year old Tyler Zacharias of no fixed address face numerous charges. The pair is also being looked at for the hoax mayday call of a plane in distress that happened Sunday night. Both men will make first appearances in court today.
