Medicine Hat College has announced that the RBC Foundation donated $25,000 to the Entrepreneur Development Centre’s Be Your Own Boss seminar series. The series focuses on improving financial and small business literacy for students in programs with a high likelihood of self-employment, such as trades and visual communications. Development officer Trish O’Grady says The college has been partnering with the RBC Foundation for a number of years and looks forward to continuing this relationship. Through the program the EDC has been able to bring in speakers from areas like accounting, management and marketing to help students navigate the challenges of starting their own business.
