Police dogs and their handlers will soon be descending on Medicine Hat. The Medicine Hat Police K-9 Team is hosting the 2015 Canadian Police Canine Association Trials from September 16-20. The trials will showcase police dog teams from across Canada competing in several events throughout the city. A public event will be held at the Canalta Centre from 9 am – 4 pm on Sunday September 20th and while admission is free, donations will be accepted at the door and all money raised from the event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern AB. The public is invited to watch the dogs demonstrate their skills in obedience, agility, and criminal apprehension.
