It’s election day and Hatters will be heading to the polls to elect the next M.L.A. Polls opened at 9: am and will close at 8:00 pm. Elections Alberta is advising residents who may be unsure as to where their polling station is to check on the Elections Alberta website and click on the link “Where Do I Vote?” Voters that don’t have access to a computer can also call the Medicine Hat Riding returning officer at 529-4891 or the Cypress-Medicine Hat returning office at 529-4291. eligible voters will need to have government issued photo ID like a drivers license or ID card. Should you not have either of those, officials say you can bring two pieces of ID, one of which must have your current address on it like a phone or utility bill.
