Stolen vehicle charges from Olds, Redcliff and Medicine Hat have landed one man in jail.  Medicine Hat Police say that on August 19th they ran a license plate on a dodge truck that came back as stolen.  The driver sped away before the officer could stop him.  A day later 3 more vehicles were reported stolen from Redcliff and Medicine Hat.  That afternoon, a member of the public spotted one of the stolen vehicles headed into the city and called police.  The car pulled into a motel on 1st Street SW where police made the arrest.  46 year old Harvey Matheson of no fixed address now faces a dozen charges including theft and breaching recognizance from Red Deer for similar offences.  He will remain in jail until appearing in Medicine Hat court on September 1st.
