With nicer weather here, once again Hatters will have to contend with road construction. Construction on the Maple Avenue Bridge is scheduled to resume on Monday, weather permitting. The work will involve minor finishing work which includes painting of the bridge, sealing the concrete deck and landscape restorations. The work is required to finish off the bridge rehabilitation project that begun last year and is scheduled to wrap up in two to three weeks. During construction traffic lanes will be reduced. Pedestrian traffic through the work zone will be maintained at all times, however sidewalk closures and detours will be required. Temporary signage will be in place to assist traffic through the construction zone. Motorists may expect minor delays, and for safety and convenience are reminded to obey all posted signs
