A male young offender is facing charges after robbing a city business. Medicine Hat Police say officers responded to the business near the downtown core yesterday after the accused went into the business with his face covered and pulled out two knives demanding money. The youth fled the scene on foot with a small amount of cash, but was arrested a short time later after being tracked down by a police dog team. He is now facing charges of robbery and wearing a disguise. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing. A second suspect was also arrested, though no charges have yet been announced. Police say their investigation is continuing.
