Flood mitigation work in Medicine Hat is proceeding on time. Officials with the city received updates this week that things are still moving smoothly forward. Phase one of berm construction in Harlow is expected to be completed next month with seeding and erosion control to be wrapped up by the middle of June. General manager of municipal works Dwight Brown said that the Lions Park project will wrap up phase one later this fall. Brown added that work to help protect city hall and the courthouses is also on track for a completion sometime in August
