An outage for electronic records has both Medicine Hat doctors and patients frustrated. Some clinics across the city yesterday said that they were unable to access health records for their patients which meant no medical history, medications or test results were available to physicians. Doctor’s said that the TELUS Wolf program that was touted by Alberta Health Services is now in its third week of issues with either being unavailable or slow. Clinics in the city using the JonokeMED system reported it was business as usual there. TELUS representatives did not respond to requests for an interview and Alberta Health Services declined to comment on the problems.
