Work is progressing on schedule and on budget at the Medicine Hat Regional Event Center. PCL Construction has now substantially completed the outer building covering and for the winter months work will be shifting almost entirely inside. City officials say that with the work is taking place in specific areas not conducive to mounting a webcam , the webcam feed will be temporarily suspended. In its place the City will utilize still images supplied by PCL from their monthly reporting as well as images captured by City staff. Once the live feed feature has been reactivated next spring, it is expected to be maintained until opening day sometime in August.
