Medicine Hat Police are on the lookout for a pair of thieves who targeted a local charity. Toys that were dropped off for the Santa Claus Fund were allegedly taken from a bin at Canadian Tire on Tuesday night around 7:00 pm. Surveillance video shows a man and a woman returning to the store after making a purchase and taking the toys. Director of the Santa Claus Fund, Tammy Vanderloh says the thieves are not stealing from the charity, they’re stealing from needy children right here at home. Vanderloh says she hopes the thieves simply return the items. The drop off bin has been moved to a different part of the store, and has been roped off.
