Abby Gilmore is back in Medicine Hat. Gilmore is the 6 year old girl who was struck by a truck while crossing the street at Red Deer Drive and 1st Street SW 2 weeks ago. A family spokesman said that little Abby has some speech problems that a therapist will have to work on and the family is also waiting to start physiotherapy. Gilmore is sporting a pink cast on her leg from the toes to her hip and also must wear a neck brace for the next 4 weeks. River Heights School where Abby is a student has been busy raising money for the family with more than $12,000 already in the coffers.
