Woman charged with stolen property possession


A Medicine Hat woman has been charged with possession of stolen property by Medicine Hat Police. Police said on Friday that 36 year old Nicole Johnston was charged after it was discovered that property was missing from a deceased persons apartment. Police said that Johnston was a cleaner who had access to several apartment buildings and that she was later seen on video using stolen credit cards in the city. Investigators added that other stolen property was recovered from Johnston’s residence. She will appear in court again on stolen property charges on October 2nd. Police added that while the investigation is on-going, further charges are anticipated.
