Revised numbers from Alberta Environment show an increase in the South Saskatchewan river levels. Fire Chief Brian Stauth says that even with projected numbers at 2700 cubic meters per second, no homes are expected to be flooded and no evacuations are being considered at this time.
Stauth reminds residents that the river banks are dangerous with fast flows. He asks people to stay away from the banks and allow city crews room to continue working to stall temporary dikes and berms
