A Medicine Hat educator is being recognized provincially. Elm Street school principal Reagan Weeks was announced as one of the 20 recipients in Alberta that honored with a provincial Excellence in Teaching Award. Weeks says she’s shocked, honored and more than a little excited to being named a winner of the award. Weeks added that she has an amazing team of teachers and support behind her and the award is really about them. School District 76 superintendent Grant Henderson called Weeks an outstanding teacher and principal. Weeks will receive her award at a gala ceremony tomorrow in Edmonton.
