Medicine Hat Police say an afternoon crash in the city’s north east was the result of a medical event. Police say shortly after 3:00 yesterday, a 1997 Mercury Marquis driven by a 67 year old man crashed into a tree between 18th and 19th Streets NE. Investigators said the senior experienced a medical event that resulted in a slow speed crash. The traffic unit is investigating the events that led up to the accident. No word was given if any charges would be laid and police said that they would not be releasing any further details on the accident
