Redcliff students march for mental health

Redcliff was awash in green to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week. As part of the campaign this year, Redcliff students wearing green shirts and a variety of other green items, marched through the town to mark Children and Youth Mental Health Awareness Day. The 700 or so students began at Margaret Wooding School, moving to IF Cox, over to Parkside School and then ended up at Redcliff Legion Memorial park. The kids were joined by town officials, RCMP, fire department, and community members. Along the way they handed out bags with green tea and positive messages to area residents. This is the second year Redcliff students have participated in the event.
