Four city organizations are benefiting from a Crescent Heights High School program. In partnership with the Community Foundations Youth in Philanthropy initiative, the Crescent Heights students looked through the Vital Signs report and then the student groups each chose a community entity to raise money for. Students raised money by various activities and then a winning group is chosen based on results and a presentation. The group supporting the Save Old Souls K9 rescue organization proved to be the winner this year and were given an additional $1900 to their donation from the Community Foundation. This is the second year of the philanthropy program at the school.
